Our large heavy duty tote, based on Vietnam War US Air Force helmet bags, is constructed from mil spec 500 Denier Cordura Tiger Stripe, a heavyweight nylon with a waterproof PU coating. This fabric is amazingly tough, versatile and water-resistant. Cotton canvas lining with mil spec webbing handles and closure clasp with 3 authentic reproduction Vietnam War era embroidered patches.

Covey Riders were experienced MACV SOG personnel who had spent time on the ground and over the fence in Laos and Cambodia. Many were once 1-0’s. These men would be back seater’s in FAC’s (Forward Air Controllers) or side by side in some planes.  Covey Rider's were the eyes in the sky and would assist recon teams on the ground in the insertion and the extraction of teams.

Carefully crafted in the East Asia Supply Co workshop, each bag is bench made ensuring attention to detail and quality workmanship. Each Tiger pattern is period authentic and custom made in Japan for EAS.
