TSPTR x STORMCROWSILVER Kilgore Dog Tag Necklace

Handmade Sterling Silver dog tag pendant with hand stamped details (pendant measures 5cm x 2.5cm) and 56cm sterling silver ball chain with sterling silver lobster clasp.
The dog tag design draws influences from Vietnam War era 'Death cards' and Apocalypse Now's Col. Kilgore. 'Death cards' gained wider notoriety after Francis Ford Coppola’s Vietnam war epic hit screens in 1979. During the conflict the ace of spades card was flung onto the bodies of dead enemy soldiers as part of psychological warfare designed to reap fear in the Viet Cong. Various Special Forces later had decks made up with their own unit insignia and skull motif on each card for the same purpose.
Every detail of the pendant was cut, formed, & stamped by hand and without the use of machines, molds, or castings. All components are Sterling Silver.
