TSPTR x EAST ASIA Duck Hunter camo Beach Ball Boonie hat
'Beach ball' hats were so named due to the 6 panel crown construction similar to that of a classic beach ball.
Duck hunter patterns trace their origins to the US M1942 spot pattern camouflage of WWII, worn primarily in the Pacific Theater of Operations. Variations of the original pattern were reproduced in different shades by numerous American companies from the 1960s and marketed as hunting apparel for sportsmen.
During the early days of the Vietnam War, these commercially procured Duck Hunter camo garments were popular among incountry CIA and Green Beret advisors.
Carefully crafted in the East Asia Supply Co workshop, each hat is bench made ensuring attention to detail and quality workmanship.
