TSPTR transports Schulz's famous 'Happiness is....' aphorism into a contemporary setting with a series of designs that are more relevant now than ever!

On April 25, 1960, Lucy Van Pelt delivered a soon-to-be ubiquitous line to the nation from the daily Peanuts - after hugging Snoopy she remarked "Happiness is a warm puppy". Peanuts licensor Connie Boucher of San Francisco's Determined Productions immediately tuned into the universal appeal of this statement and the question, 'What is Happiness?' In November 1962, in the midst of the Cuban Missile Crisis, the first Peanuts pocket book was published titled 'Happiness is a Warm Puppy'. It remained on the national best seller list for 43 weeks.

The 'Happiness is...' formula permeated mass culture throughout the rest of the decade and into the next. Not before long, free spirits in the counterculture began asking loudly the very same question. In 1968, John Lennon (a Peanuts fan) would retort with the sardonic "Happiness is a Warm Gun" on the Beatles' 'White Album'. The phrase found its way into the cultural lexicon and became part of the zeitgeist.
