144 pages, Spiral Bound, 200mm x 300mm, B & W
July 2020. London. Britain’s youth had taken to the street to voice their displeasure. It’s 2020, this generation weren’t supposed to be protesting against racism. They weren’t supposed to have anything to protest against, but also they’re not supposed to be protesting; they’re not supposed to be on the street.
Photographer James Kemmenoe spent the summer of 2020 on the streets of London documenting this youth revolution, the results of this endeavour are collected in this beautiful yet hard hitting cultural record.
