Sack Jacket in Japanese Red Line Denim
TSPTR x Dawson Denim
Limited Edition of 25 pcs
The Sack Jacket is the archetypal 20th century workwear coverall. Our TSPTR Buddy jacket (eponymously named after Buddy Lee, the Lee Jeans mascot from 1920 - 1960) is made using 14.25oz organic cotton red line selvedge denim, woven in Okayama, Japan with 10 oz. indigo-dyed sashiko cotton pockets, made in Japan using vintage Toyoda looms.
We’ve teamed up with Britain's leading denim laundry to apply authentic and sustainable washes. Using a bleach and acid-free enzyme wash, our forward-thinking laundry neutralises the ph of all water used in the wash before recycling it, leading to a more environmentally friendly process that aligns with our ethics at TSPTR and Dawson.
Each Sack Jacket is made on vintage sewing machines in Dawson's Brighton workshop and finished with Reese 101 buttonholes, custom urea buttons, and a unique spectacle button hole on the front placket.
