From Hell’s Angels and hippies to Hollywood stars and musicians, Jerry’s Place on the Sunset Strip hosted all of the counterculture’s milieu. A notorious 1950’s dive bar, it was closed down in the mid 60s due to a drug related shootout. It was reopened and renamed a year later and became a mecca for disparate outcasts across Hollywood's social strata, it’s skeleton logo complete with half a right middle finger just like Jerry Garcia.
