Number 666 in the set

Aleister Crowley- occultist, ceremonial magician, novelist, mountaineer, painter, the Great Beast

Dubbed by the British press as "The Wickedest Man in the World," his radical advocacy for absolute personal freedom, actualisation, and anti-authoritarianism made him a foundational figure in Western esotericism and 20th-century counterculture. Crowley's maxim, "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law", deeply resonated with the 1960s generation's emphasis on individual liberation, sexual experimentation, and the rejection of social constraints.

He was featured on the cover of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, largely due to John Lennon's fascination with his philosophy.  Led Zepplin's Jimmy Page was an avid collector of Crowley artefacts and even bought Boleskine House, Crowley's former residence on the shores of Loch Ness. Numerous other artists including David Bowie and The Rolling Stones have referenced Crowley's works, aesthetic, and philosophy in their music and lore.
