Olive HBT (Herringbone twill) 3 button 'Party Suit' Jacket
During the Vietnam War it was common for US Special Forces or Airforce personnel to have items of clothing privately made to their specifications by local Vietnamese tailors. Various military camo patterns and other cloth would be available in the tailorshops and while combat gear was often made, what was called 'party suits' were often popular. These were garments to be worn when inside the base or on R and R. Suits, shirts and flight suits were popular items, incountry made patches were then often then applied to individualise the garments and celebrate missions.
